Coming summarized or brief schedule overview should be first thing people see, so if reader only has a minute to check out the email, they hex an idea for a couple times they will want to tune in, and will have a good feeling in their brain and be more likely to come back to the email again later. For these who do have time, it’s still a nice-to-have the schedule like a table of contents for the week right at the top.
Similar layout to the Creator Camo schedule that was posted in that group; quickly able to glance and see what’s going on in the week.
On ENN, ana & Fuljens would highlight a community question from FB or Discord from the previous week. Doing something similar in the newsletter could showcase the Ecamm Fam in a positive light... both from the person asking and, if it makes sense, the person(s) answering. It will also get more of that: "this is how Ecamm solved a real-world issue" type of content in front of the Fam. I know I've learned a lot by seeing solutions to challenges people are attempting to solve because I could picture myself dealing with those same challenges. Obviously, this would need to be a short snippet for it to work within an email message. Perhaps this needs further vetting to determine its viability, but this is what came to mind when I saw the request to change or improve the email newsletter.
Ecamm content and videos seem to be geared towards individual podcasters trying to grow their “personal brands.” Don’t forget those of us who use Ecamm in work settings, for Learning, training, etc. I’m finding the comms less and less useful.
Don't know how to register for or use the leaderboard.
Hi friend! We will put a quick video tutorial in the next Monday email for this. But if you scroll to the bottom, you should be able to just click and sign up for the leaderboard :-)
I would love to see more of what's going on in the community!
